DUAL CREDIT

Dual Credit is a program offered through a partnership with Kilgore College and Big Sandy ISD that allows students to earn both high school and college credit for certain classes.

Benefits:

Big Sandy ISD reimburses the cost of one class per semester for juniors and two classes per semester for seniors.
Students can graduate with up to 18 hours (6 classes) reimbursed, making those classes free to them.
Gain first-hand experience with college-level work while still in high school.
Experience a smoother transition from high school to college.
Accelerate degree completion after high school.
Save money on college tuition.

Registration and Application Process:

Students must apply to Kilgore College
Students must pass the TSI (college entrance test)
