Hello, and welcome to another school year at Big Sandy ISD.  I am glad you have taken the time to check us out on the web.  The 2010-2011 school year is here and we are very excited.  Once again this year’s motto is “Big Sandy ISD…Higher Expectations for ALL”.   

As each of you are well aware we are experiencing some exciting times at Big Sandy.  Construction on our Bond is nearly complete and we are ecstatic about the new facilities.  Entrances to the school are now more secure and upon entering the campus you will be at the campus office.  We appreciate each of you cooperating and helping this district strive to reach the next level of excellence.   

Big Sandy ISD and all 3 campuses received a rating of RECOGNIZED according to Texas Education Agency standards.  We are very fortunate at Big Sandy to have the number of outstanding students that walk the hallways each day.  It is a privilege for me as well as our staff to educate tomorrow’s leaders.  I challenge each parent, student, staff member and community member to reach out and be active in the district activities.  Big Sandy has numerous programs, clubs, and activities for our students, please come out and support, encourage, and cheer for our student’s success.  Once again thank you for visiting us and we are excited about the new school year.
