Welcome to First Grade!  My name is Nicole Knight.  I teach first grade at Big Sandy Elementary.  Prior to teaching first grade, I spent five years teaching Pre-Kindergarten.  My goal is to not only teach academics, but to teach a love for  learning.  A positive attitude and self confidence are essential in student success, therefore I try in incorporate these things into everyday activities. 

I am the proud mother of an eight year old little boy, Cobey.  He is in third grade at Big Sandy Elementary.  Cobey and I have a chocolate lab named, Rex.
