Journal Requirements
Each student will be required to keep a journal for speech and theatre class. Journal time is usually allotted at the beginning of each period.
Written work in this journal must be completed in blue or black ink. Do not use fluorescent pens or highlighters for written entries.
Unless we are studying vocabulary, students may choose to write about a topic other than the daily topic suggested on the overhead. However, the daily topic generally relates to either the speech unit, the theatre unit, or current events.
Students who are absent may get the topics from another student or compose another topic. Journals should be considered as part of the make-up work.
