K-A

1. We will have a respectful attitude toward others.

2. We will raise our hand before speaking during group time.

3. We will use a quiet voice when indoors.

4. We will walk while indoors.

5. We will not interrupt another person while they are talking.

6. We will eat quietly and mannerly in the cafeteria.

7. We will rest quietly on our mats during rest.

8. We will give the teacher at least one hug each day.

In Kindergarten we try to approach discipline in a positive manner when at all possible. However, when a positive approach does not prove effective we have a discipline management plan which goes through the following steps:

1. Child's name is placed in behavior book as a warning.

2. Child removes his/her name from the good behavior board, and does not receive a "Super Kid " coupon.

3. Child sits in time out chair for a given amount of time.

4. A note is sent home to the parents stating the problems their child is having.

5. The student is sent to the principal and/or corporal punishment is administered.
