The Northeast Texas Public Health District Immunization Department will be having special clinics as a result of the new school requirements for this year. The clinics are as follows:

07/11/2009- Saturday, 10:00am-2:00pm
07/18/2009- Saturday, 10:00am-2:00pm
08/08/2009- Saturday, 10:00am-2:00pm
08/20-21/2009-Thursday, Friday 08:00am-11:00am and 1:00pm-4:00pm
08/27/-28/2009-Thursday, Friday 08:00am-11:00am and 1:00pm-4:00pm

All of the above clinics will be held at the Northeast Texas Public Health District located at 815 North Broadway, Tyler, Texas 75702. There will also be a Children’s Health Fair sponsored by the Smith County Medical Alliance on 08/15/2009 from 10:00am-2:00pm at the First Christian Church Family Life Center located at the ESE Loop 323 and Broadway. The NETPHD Immunization Department will be offering immunizations on that day.

In order to receive the vaccines the child must qualify for the Texas Vaccine For Children Program. The qualifications are as follows:
1) Enrolled in Medicaid- Bring current Medicaid paper
2) Does not have insurance
3) Be underinsured

There is an $8.00 administration fee per vaccine. Please bring the updated immunization record. Anyone under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent/guardian who is 18 years or older.
