Big Sandy High School
 

Happy New Year! We have come back from the holiday break are back to work at Big Sandy High School. We are beginning a new semester January 19^th. At high school, each and every class counts towards graduation requirements. Every class is worth credits and credits, in turn, are required for graduation. It is imperative that students attend school everyday and give 100%. 

With the spring semester beginning so will many more sports and activities. Students who choose to participate in extracurricular activities must learn to balance activities with academics. Every spare moment students are not in competition should be dedicated to completing assignments and studying. Students should utilize time spent riding the bus to and from a competition and while waiting at the event for an activity to begin or immediately after is finished. We have to learn to utilize the precious few moments we have. Academics are our top priority at Big Sandy High School!
