Big Sandy High School
 

Hello Wildcats!  

My name is PJ Winters and I am the new Big Sandy High School principal. I am very excited to be joining the Wildcat family in its pursuit of excellence. I am coming to Big Sandy after several years of hard work and improved test scores by our students. We cannot wait to begin our new school year and build on the foundation of academics that is in place. 

The high school staff is eagerly anticipating the completion of a major construction project on our campus. Once completed, the high school will have a new office space, new classrooms, a shared computer lab, and a new science lab. There is also new flooring in most hallways of the high school. We invite all parents and students to come and check out the progress being made at Big Sandy High School on Thursday August 19, 2010 when we will host our meet the teacher night. 

We would like to extend a special welcome to all of our incoming Freshmen to Big Sandy High School. Our Freshmen Orientation is scheduled for Tuesday August 10, 2010 at 6:00 pm. This is a chance for all students entering the ninth grade and their parents to ensure all enrollment paperwork is complete, ask questions about coming to high school, and allow student to pick up their schedules.  

Once again I wish to say hello and would welcome your calls or e-mails if you need any assistance from me. I hope to see you all on August 19 for our meet the teacher night.
