It is great to be back at Big Sandy ISD and my family and I are looking forward to once again being a part of the Wildcat family.  As usual, the summer has flown by and the first day of school is just a few days away.  The summer has brought some staff changes and we welcome them to our team -  Ms. Cindy Barrow will be High School Secretary,  Andrew Adams will be teaching Chemistry/A&P, Jennifer Jones-Rucker joins our English Department, Steve McGowen will be in our Ag Department and Steven Watson will be working in our Special Education Department.

Freshman orientation will be Monday, August 15th at 6:00 p.m. at the High School. This will be an excellent time to complete the registration process and get answers to any of your questions. In addition to Monday night, we will have a District wide "Meet the Teacher" night on Thursday, August 18th from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. This will be great opportunity to get acquainted with our new staff members.
