What's Happening at Big Sandy ISD

Tennis 2008

March 31 and April 1 the Big Sandy Tennis Team went to TJC for their district meet.  Competing on the varsity level were Kaila Johnson, Megan Gilbert, Christine Wilson and Ivette Garcia. Kaila and Ivette placed third and advanced to the finals after defeating defeating New Diana in girls doubles.

Competing for the JV team were Chris Smith, Justin Pruitt, Kolisha Polk, Jonita Brown, Savannah Reed, and Josh Stanford.

Kolisha and Jonita, girls doubles - 1st place
Chris and Justin, boys doubles - 2nd place
Savannah and Josh, mixed doubles - 2nd place
