Choose Words That Will
Encourage Such As: |
- I have faith in you
- You can do it if
you try
- You are doing fine
- Don't worry about
that mistake, that was a good try
- You will figure it
out
- It is a challenge,
but I'm sure you will do fine
- I see you put a lot
of effort into that

there are learning problems, ask if your child
can be tested
- Understand that
many people have learning disabilities-talk to
the child's teacher, ask if your child can be
tested, give your child extra support at home,
and find things your child can do well.
- Talk with your
child after a test - learning to take tests
builds confidence.
