Welcome to fourth grade math. I am excited to be a part of your math education. I am beginning my 22nd year with Big Sandy I.S.D. I taught high school Home Economics from 1983 to 1998, sixth grade language arts from 1998 to 2001, and fourth grade from 2001 to 2005 where I plan to stay until retirement.
I am a product of the Big Sandy I.S.D. I attended Big Sandy Schools from first grade to high school graduation in 1974. I am a graduate of Tyler Junior College and Sam Houston University with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
I still love to learn. I believe learning should be fun. I try to plan interactive lessons that require the student to move about while learning. With singing, dancing, and constant review, we work on math facts all year long.
