Step 1 - Create a
Second Level Page
- Click the
button on the
toolbar.
- Right-click in a blank
area of the page and select page properties from the popup menu
- Give your page a
title
- Click OK.
- Save the file as
page2.htm
Step 2 - Create a
Table for Layout Purposes
- Click Table >
Insert > Table
- Select 2 rows, 2 columns,
0 for borders, 595 pixels
- Click OK
- Save your changes (as
page2.htm)
Step 3 - Fill the
Table
- Type "Sample Page 2" in
the top cell on the left
- Type "Home" in the top
cell on the right
- Connect the two columns in
the second row by first highlighting the two rows and then select
Table > Merge Cells
- Insert a Horizontal
Line into the single row
- Set the Background
Color of this row by right-clicking in the row and selecting Cell
properties. Then choose a background color.
- Place the cursor into the
last row and hit the tab key to create a new row
- Remove the color of this
row by right-clicking on the row and selecting Cell properties.
Then choose a background color > Automatic
- Type the following in the
row: "Sample Page 2 | Syllabus"
- Insert two more rows using
the tab key
- In the last row type: "Put
your mouse over the image"
- Save your changes (as
page2.htm)
Step 4 - Preview
the Page
- Quick preview - Click on
the Preview tab OR
- Browser preview - Click
the
button on the toolbar or File > Preview in
Browser ... |
